60th Venice Art Biennale Pre-Opening & Highlights
This week we were invited by the Türkiye Pavilion for the pre-opening of the 60th Venice Art Biennale. This year's international art exhibition is curated by Adriano Pedrosa, with the title 'Foreigners Everywhere - Stranieri Ovunque.' The selection of artists and artworks mostly focus on issues with racism, discrimination, immigration, indigenous and folk art, queer identity.

New Studio & Showroom
We moved into our new studio space in the same building in March 2024. The new studio is also a ground level showroom to give us move flexibility to host events and pop up exhibitions.

Interview Series - Mehves Lelic
We have Mehves Lelic as our guest this week for the interview series. Mehves is an Istanbul-born artist, curator and educator based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. In her work she ponders modernity and heritage, belonging, and the resulting relationship with the environment. She is an Assistant Professor of Art and Art History and the Director of Mosely Gallery at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She holds an MFA from Bard College and a BA from the University of Chicago.

Journey into Murano's Craft: The technique of Lattimo
The Lattimo or milk Glass technique is a traditional glassblowing method that originated in Murano, similarly to Filigrana. It was widely used in the 16th century but fell into disuse over time. Thanks to major factories such as Barovier & Toso, Venini & C. and MVM Cappellini & C It was reintroduced in the 20s.

Solid Floor has been supplying and installing bespoke timber flooring for over twenty-five years. Acclaimed in equal measure for the variety and distinctiveness of its floors, Solid Floor is frequently specified by many of the UK’s leading architects and designers.


'VERRIER' Installation at Hart Shoreditch
This stunning installation by Studio Sahil, aptly named ""Verrier"", will be a permanent feature in the Hart Shoreditch hotel's lobby entrance. The delicate glass spheres will be suspended from an iron structure and lit from the base, casting mesmerising ripple shadows that complement the wrought iron spiral staircase and pay homage to the silk weavers and Huguenots that settled in Spitalfields in the 17th Century.
