Collaboration with Nicola Tree Photography | Through the looking glass
Recently, we joined forces with Nicola Tree, a talented photographer and photojournalist from London, to bring a fresh creative vision to our iconic collection, 'Sand to Glass.’

This collaboration as glass, a subject matter and an apparatus to Nicola’s camera magnified new textures in the process. The sand grains, infused into the glass are not always visible to the naked eye. Through Nicola’s artistic approach, the imagery reveals detailed textures and colours within the material while bringing forth the sculptural forms.

The simplicity of the pieces allowed me to experiment with different back drops from industrial textured material to high glossy gold mirrors each creating very individual images for these highly bespoke pieces”

Nicola specialises in portrait and product photography. She explores new visual interpretations of products by playing with both lighting composition and colour in her spacious London studio.
