Solid Floor has been supplying and installing bespoke timber flooring for over twenty-five years. Acclaimed in equal measure for the variety and distinctiveness of its floors, Solid Floor is frequently specified by many of the UK’s leading architects and designers.

This stunning installation by Studio Sahil, aptly named ""Verrier"", will be a permanent feature in the Hart Shoreditch hotel's lobby entrance. The delicate glass spheres will be suspended from an iron structure and lit from the base, casting mesmerising ripple shadows that complement the wrought iron spiral staircase and pay homage to the silk weavers and Huguenots that settled in Spitalfields in the 17th Century.

We are proud to participate to the Italian Glass Weeks in Venice, one of the most prestigious glass exhibitions in Europe among talented artists.

In September 18 -25, 2022, we had a chance to participate to the twentieth anniversary of London Design Festival as part of the Shoreditch Design Triangle.

Our glass pieces are part of a pop-up store at the South Arcade of the Islington Square in London organized by otherprojections and NID from February to Mid-April 2022. We share a space along with textiles, ceramics, home furniture and accessories.

We made another collaboration with Rezan Has Museum on designing a colouring book. The book is based on artifact patterns from Urartu Civilization, a part of the museum's permanent collection.

Last month, I had the opportunity to be invited to give a Tedx talk in Istanbul at Maslak TIM Show Center. It was a memorable experience to talk about design, some of the processes and challenges.

New additions to Sand to Glass collection are currently on display at Mint Shop in London. The "Mosaic" exhibition continues until 1st July 2019‬ and our items are exclusively available for purchase through the gallery.

During this year's Milan Design Week, we had the opportunity to exhibit with Lexus Design Awards (LDA) at their Finalist's Exhibition at Superstudio Più at Zona Tortona. As the finalists, we presented our work to the judges including the Yoshihiro Sawa (the director of Lexus International), John Maeda (Head of Automattic, Inc.), Sir David Adjaye (world renowed architect), Paola Antonelli (Senior curator at MoMA) Congratulations to Lisa Marks for winning the Grand Prix with her project, Algorithmic Lace Bra.
